The 25 years old Priscilla Brijker is helping friend Nadin Simbula(30) to release the American Brett Hartmann. 33 years old Brett has been on death row for 10 years now in a prison in the state Ohio. Innocent, say Brijker and Simbula.
Nadin has been writing with Brett for a while now and it is obvious he is innocent. There is clear evidence of that. For Nadin its a daily work to get everything done for Brett.In order to get Brett's case reopened there is alot of money needed. The two friends are doing everything to get the money together. At the moment they are getting money together to start a foundation. We are now asking family, friends and people we know.
Brijker and Simbula have great plans. We are organising a huge benefitconcert. This has to take place in the Heineken Music Hall and we allready have talked to several artists. The plans are taken seriously, because the partyleader of the SP Jan Marijnisse has given his cooperation.
The evening is planned on January 26. If Brett's case will not be reopened then there is a big change that he will be executed.
A lot of policemen involved in Brett's case have commited perjury. The state probably doesnt want that the case is reopened, because then it will be clear that Brett is innocent and they will have to explain a few things.
