Group to protest execution of Daniel Bedford in downtown
A group against the death penalty has organized a rally later today in downtown Toledo. The protest is against the execution of Daniel Bedford. Just this week the Ohio Supreme Court said it would not delay that execution.

The protest is this afternoon at the Lucas County courthouse steps at 4:30. The execution is scheduled for Tuesday.

The prayer service for Dan, victims, etc will be at St. Francis Church at the corner of Liberty and Vine at 7:00 on Monday evening, May 16.
The carpool to Lucasville on Tuesday morning to be part of the prayer witness outside the penitentiary will leave Peaslee Nieghborhood Center at 6:15. Please call 513-579-8547 to reserve a spot in the car.
