Idaho filmmaker's project about man cleared by DNA An Idaho-based filmmaker hopes to raise $25,000 for a documentary about the first person freed from death row by DNA evidence. The Idaho Statesman reports (http://bit.ly/upPMQj ) Boise filmmaker Gregory Bayne recently launched a fundraising campaign online. He is seeking pledges of at least $25,000 by Dec. 5 for the production of the film about Kirk Bloodsworth, who spent nine years in prison before a 1993 DNA test overturned his conviction.
