If you live in Ohio - Please join OTSE at 3:15pm at the Ohio Statehouse TOMORROW for a hearing on Senate Bill 270, which would repeal Ohio's death penalty!
The Ohio Senate Judiciary Committee will will hold a hearing on Senate Bill 270, which would end Ohio's death penalty and replace it with life in prison without parole:
When: Tuesday, February 14, 2012
Time: 3:15 PM
Where: North Hearing Room, #217
Ohio Statehouse, 1 Capitol Square, Columbus, OH 43215
We encourage all repeal supporters to attend this hearing to show our legislators just how much support there is for the bill. This could be our one chance to make a lasting impression on committee members and encourage them to vote the bill out of committee and onto the whole Senate floor. It will also be an exciting opportunity to hear testimonies from notable experts on the death penalty and from individuals who have personal connections to the issue. We hope you can make it!
