Families That Matter Story Project IJPC has an exciting new project: The Families That Matter Story Project. Our goal is to custom-publish a 24-page, 8 ½ x 11 publication that captures the personal stories of death row families. It will share their perspective, pain, and wisdom - giving voice to a side of this issue not usually heard. In the finished product, each family’s story will be told in two- or four- pages of text and images, organized by theme. Since 2002, IJPC has developed a niche, statewide and nationally, of working with family members of death row inmates and integrating their work into the larger anti-death penalty movement. Because of the trust we have established with families, we have the unique opportunity to share their stories as hidden victims of the death penalty system and expose another reason for ending the death penalty in Ohio.
