I've been thinking about the trial, and what is glaringly apparent to me is that they confused the hell out of the jurors with their time lines and tech talk.
They concentrated so much on eyewitness accounts of what Brett did Monday and early a.m. Tuesday when he was with her. I don't think the jury even heard that she was seen 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Phone records showed Brett on the phone, at home, with Jessica at 4:50.
His mom came home after 6 and he was there.
He took the bus at 7:38 p.m.
1st 911 call was at 9:57 p.m.
2nd 911 call was at 9:59 p.m.
3rd 911 call was at 10:19.
4th 911 call was at 10;45.
He was in and out of the bars and going to pay phones all that time.
All these places are located on, about the same block and in close proximity to the other.
So from about 8p.m. Tues. night till 9:57, (the first 911 call), he was supposed to have stabbed her 130+ times, cut her hands off, disposed of several knives, hands, had no blood on him, caused no noise, had no marks on him whatsoever?
And witnessed coming and going from the bars-d**n-all that in 2 hours and no one seeing anything remotely suspicious?
Then calling Jessica from the bar at 11:00p.m. for 11 min. and 9 sec.
Out of the four 911 calls, the first two were supposed to be from Brett, the third from an Adam Walker, and the fourth from an unidentified black male in blue jeans and white tee shirt.
Police were dispatched the 1st time at 10:02,(went to the wrong apartment), 2nd dispatch at 11:00,(when he was on the phone with Jessica).
What the hell...?
Her boyfriend, (Winda's), was evicted 1 week before, but we never found out why, and he had access to the buildings keys.
A cab was seen outside the building, but for some reason, cab records were only checked for certain hours...hours that didn't match the time frame...?
The garbage they retrieved from behind her apartment wasn't what Brett dumped. They never lifted prints from the clock, garbage, apartment keys, mop, etc...besides condoms found in her bathroom trash. They found plastic gloves in the trash behind her apartment...no DNA done on them either.
Why throw out your beer bottles and cig butts but not condoms-maybe because they weren't yours-oh and the plastic gloves, never mind testing them because we heard she had dyed her hair and that is probably why they were red.
And her boyfriends alibi was better than Brett's?
I guess so...at home drinking with your buddies is better than phone records, so lets not even put them on the stand to double check-and lets not forget the jail house snitch, put him on the stand.
I'll bet he'll tell the truth-don't need to check him-he's sure to be honest from head to toe, and getting special consideration on his sentence won't have a thing to do with it!
