On September 26, 2007 activists from across the state will be converging on the Statehouse to tell our governor and legislature that Ohioans want an end to executions. Already, 1,500 people have registered to attend the rally - one of the largest the state has ever seen. Have you registered? Make history with us on September 26. Register www.acluohio.org/dprally/index.htm now and STAND UP for an END TO EXECUTIONS Can't make it for the whole day? Just come for the rally at noon! Preregister www.acluohio.org/dprally/index.htm and receive a FREE T-SHIRT when you arrive at the rally! If you have any questions or would like to register a large group, please email stopthedeathpenalty@acluohio.org or call 216-472-2220. The ACLU opposes the death penalty because: * it violates the constitutional ban on cruel and unusual punishment * it discriminates on the basis of socioeconomic status, race, and geography * it is arbitrary and capricious, including its use against the mentally ill Stand up! Get active! Make some noise! Our website has all the tools you need to restore lost liberty. Check it out at www.acluohio.org
