We are a non profit organization against the death penalty. We are family
and friends of prisoners, prisoners, former prisoners, abolitionists and
human rights activists who came together to create this organization to be a
part of the death penalty abolition movement.
Justice for the innocent e.V. does projects to abolish the death penalty,
protest against executions and supports inmates - especially those on Death
Row, lifer and long term prisoners. We also inform the public about the
death penalty and show special law cases about people who have strong
evidence towards their innocence, connecting prisoners with people in the
outside world to become pen pals and we fight for the inmate's rights and
give them a voice on our site, we have a postcard project and we let the
inmates talk on our webpage.
Right now, we are planning on a book project that will be published next
year. It will be a book against the death penalty, from voices inside and
outside and basically about the fight against the death penalty. For this we
need you as an activist. We need the world to know that there ARE activists
who set all their heart in the hard fight against the death penalty - day
for day, week for week, month for month, year for year.
No one who has never been in our shoes has the slightest idea how hard it is
to do this fight, literally of life or death. And therefore we want to let
you speak about this fight. YOUR fight! What are your own personal thoughts
about the death penalty? What do you want the world to know about the death
penalty? What do you want the world to know about your fight against the
death penalty? How can we make it to abolish the death penalty? What do WE
have to do that the death penalty will be abolished? Do you think it could
ever be abolished, if so what is your guess when it will be abolished ? How
long will it still take?
Please write an essay about all this to let the world know about our
unremittingly fight.
We hope that with this book we can raise once more awareness to the fight
against the death penalty and to call attention on the activism in hope that
maybe some more people will understand and join us in our fight to abolish
the death penalty. Because we believe that only together we can make a
change! It will probably be published some when next year and all the
revenues of the book will go completely to Justice for projects.
