Clark County Common Pleas Judge Douglas Rastatter granted Dean's motion to dismiss all his post-conviction proceedings in the local court, said Clark County Prosecutor Stephen Schumaker. Dean still has an appeal pending in the Ohio Supreme Court that will move forward, said his attorney, Joseph Wilhelm, assistant state public defender. Dean was sentenced to death in June 2006 after being found guilty of killing Titus Arnold in 2005. Dean's accomplice, Joshua Wade, was convicted of murder charges in 2006. Although Wade was convicted of pulling the trigger in Arnold's shooting, Wade wasn't eligible for the death penalty because he was 16 at the time of the murder. www.springfieldnewssun.com/n/cont....022709dean.html
